Hello!

Nice to meet you, and thanks for visiting! I’m Rahul and I’m an aspiring medical professional located in the Bay Area. Currently, I am a Medical Assistant at On Time Testing, a company established during the COVID-19 pandemic with a vision of providing full-service COVID-19 care to community members nationwide. Additionally, I was a Lead Volunteer at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center (300+ hours). Fun fact, I actually volunteered at COVID-19 vaccination sites too!Before I dig deeper into my medical professional career, I plan on attending San Jose State University, where I will take on the Pre-Nursing track. After completing my prerequisites, I hope to get into a nursing program to pursue my future endeavor of becoming a Nurse Practitioner.What I love most about health care – the maintenance or improvement of health in people – is the devotion of my own life towards serving others. My innate selflessness brings meaning to the feelings of others around me. In other words, to some, a patient’s feelings might not mean anything. But to me, it means everything. In the end, I am able to feed my desire to help others and make a difference in their lives, while also making a living out of it. In addition to my Medical Assistant experience and volunteering efforts, I also partook in virtual shadowing sessions (200+ hours) through two different shadowing programs. Both provided invaluable and knowledgeable sessions that expand my ever-lasting love for health care.Outside of my dedication to helping others, I spend my time creating and distributing music, (check out yunhg, we have over 190,000 streams on Spotify!), swimming, exploring the outdoors, and binge-watching shows. I’m also a fan of social media, mental health, legos, and chocolate!
